Chris2 took Eve to her new home in California. They left last Friday and got there safe and sound. We got a very nice phone call from Eve’s new owner. He and his family (especially his young daughter) just LOVE Eve! They were so pleased when she got off the trailer with how she looks and moves, and then…they found out what a great personality she has to boot! Eve has been nibbling on hay and drinking water, so it seems that she is getting comfortable in her new surroundings. We think they are going to have a ball working with her and showing her off!

Well, as you may already know, Matilda finally has her registered name! It was a close race, neck and neck to the finish. But when we combined the results from all three polls – BarnBuddy site, the public site, and Animal Planet’s site – the winner was “ZMI Hollywood Style!” We think it fits her well. Now we need to award a prize to whoever suggested the name. So…who came up with it??

Great news: Penny was checked today and is in foal! She is at 43 days, so it is still just a tiny embryo but we’ve gotten this far. Keep your fingers crossed!

Susan was in a car accident on the way home from baseball the other night and hurt her ankle pretty bad. She and the kids were all buckled and the kids were unharmed. The other car didn't yield at the stop sign and pulled out on Hwy P right in front of Susan’s car. The police said the other driver was completely responsible for the accident and the Durango is probably totaled. But, we’re counting our blessings because everyone is in one piece.
