Bill and Cindy T went to the World Dairy Expo in Madison recently and set up a BarnCam booth. They sold lots of cameras and met “cow people” from all over the world. Even a guy from Korea bought a camera from us and took it home with him. Our first cross-the-pond sale!

Bill and Fanny went out on a trail ride last week with about 16 riders all together. They had a great time. Fanny did very well and rode without a problem. It turned out to be a long ride, longer than expected, as they took a wrong turn somewhere. The map and signposts were not very clear and the trail looped around a bit, so it was easy to go a little too far. Fanny loved to be in the middle and do whatever the horses in front of her would do. She and Bill were both tired by the time they got done, but a good night’s rest had them both feeling fine.

The latest big news is that we sold Sandy. A lady from Pennsylvania saw her on our website and really liked her breeding and conformation. After several emails, phone calls and a vet check, she decided to buy her. She came Sunday night to pick her up and take Sandy to her new home. We’re going to miss Sandy, but she’ll have a great new life as she trades in motherhood for the show ring and barrel racing! That is exactly what she is built for and I can just see her flying around those turns!!

Bill celebrated his big 4-0 birthday last Friday. Susan and some of the local Buddies threw him a party, complete with lots of gifts for the “aged!” Too bad he couldn’t enjoy it as much as he would have liked, as Bill came down with some kind of bad stomach bug that had him pretty well down for the count. He is feeling better now and things are getting back to normal,  In just six short weeks we will be bringing Cookie and Frosty into the new barn to prepare for foaling season – can you even believe it?!?  Thanks for watching!
