We won! We won!  We finally won our first basketball game in the past two years.  It is funny that when you talk to the guys they all think we have won before haven’t we? LOL No, I am sure we haven’t at least since I have been on the team. 

Our hay finally got cut over the weekend as it looks like we might have a week of sun.  Keep your fingers crossed.

We got an update from the Jirkovsky’s, Luke’s trainers. As it turned out, Luke did not make it to the Grand Island show like they had planned, nor did their other horses. The weather did not cooperate - it was only 32 degrees, too cold to have show horses with their sleek summer-like coats out there trying to compete. However, Luke is at Worlds in Fort Worth now and will show on Friday at noon CDT at http://www.appaloosa.org/. On  Saturday, he’ll ride home to Saddlebrook with Andy and Elizabeth Chwala. We can’t wait to see Luke! It seems like he has been gone a long time. 

Here’s another update, this one’s from Lee in AZ. It was good hearing from her. If you don’t recall, Lee is a Buddy who is mom to two Saddlebrook horses, Lucy and Junior: “Hi Bill how are you all doing? Great I hope. Things are going good here. Lucy is doing great and loves being an Arizona Diva and Junior well Junior is Junior. I actually call him Pecks Bad Boy lol but I love him. Will get some new pictures and send them off I have been remiss but lots going on here. It is cooler in Arizona now and boy do the big kids love it. Lucy loves kicking up her heels when it is cool and tries to chase Junior around which of course he loves.  He does pester her but she still at times acts like he is her boy and guards him while he sleeps it is so cute.  Anyhoo kids are doing great they love Arizona and of course we love them so much!!!
