All the horses just loved the perfect weather the last couple of days. Bill was out fixing more fences. There are sections that are getting quite old now, and it was some of these that took a real beating when Kate's horses lived here. Her warmbloods are just so big and strong; it was like having six more Fannies leaning on fences, lol!

We got an interesting email from the folks at Breyer today.  They are the biggest manufacturer of model horses in the world. They were emailing us about the picture of Zippy they want to use for some sort of advertising. We need to get a few more details, and we of course would love to have a Zippy model made, but for right now they just seem interested in the photo. Moxy was up to her old shenanigans the other day. Remember when she used to tear around her mom in circles? We haven't seen her do that a lot lately, but today she was unstoppable! She must have run around the paddock 40 times, skidding into mom on several occasions. All the while Roxy was calmly munching her hay, totally unfazed.

Moxy sure is getting big, and we'll have to think about weaning her next month.

I was in Oklahoma City last week for ApHC board meetings. Among other things, I was lucky enough to have dinner with a group from Austria. It was the president of the Austrian Appaloosa Association and 3 other members. They spoke German and English luckily. Two of the women were from Salzburg, one of the places I will be going with Joe when he sings with the children's choir. I wasn't exactly sure where we are going but they told me all about it. Frank Larrabee's new latest three year old stallion was reserve world champion in the three year old hunt seat class at the world show. This is a very competitive class and they were very happy with the results. All of his horses are huge and I would expect that both Spices and Fanny's foals will be big.
