• February 2, 2008 - In the swing of things...
Well, we are back at school and in the swing of things already. It feels like the end of Week 8, not Week 1! I have all senior classes (Year 10 / 11) and am getting the ESL program going. I am also running the Staff Association this year which will be a big job but I am hoping to get some other people involved.
Because school has been so busy I haven't been doing very much. I tend to get home, check my email and change, have dinner and do the dishes before I flake out on the couch. I knew I was tired the other night when I sat watching a reality medical show, a show about extreme rescues and then a VERY old repeat of NCIS.
I have worked on my story a little... finally worked out how I am going to change the ending, so that is one thing off my mind as far as that story goes. Also did some work on two of my fantasy stories that I haven't touched for quite a while.
The weather has been quite warm now for the past few weeks. I am looking forward to the cooller weather so I can start cooking my favourite meals again. We could also do with some good rains to green up the gardens and fill the rainwater tanks and reservoirs.
